Tianshui's GDP up 6% year-on-year in Q1-Q3

Nestled in the southeastern part of Gansu province in Northwest China, Tianshui, is the second largest city in Gansu. It serves as a pivotal hub within the Silk Road Economic Belt, and is renowned for its abundant historical and cultural heritage, breathtaking natural landscapes, and distinctive tourism resources.

In the first three quarters of 2023, the city of Tianshui, achieved a noteworthy gross domestic product (GDP) of 61.98 billion yuan ($8.67 billion), a 6 percent year-on-year growth.

Since the beginning of this year, Tianshui has diligently focused on crucial areas and vulnerable aspects of the business environment, and continually enhanced and optimized the overall commercial atmosphere across the entire city. This endeavor has effectively supported the advancement of the local economy and society, and fostered a trajectory of high-quality development.
