Proceeds are being tallied and contracts recorded, as the 31st China Lanzhou Investment and Trade Fair winds up on July 10 after having opened on July 6 in Lanzhou, capital of Gansu province.

On the last day of the show industries with local advantages from Gansu's prefecture-level cities and autonomous prefectures continue to be showcased.

Intelligent technologies are shining brightly at the fair. When entering the Lanzhou Pavilion, a humanoid robot introduces itself to visitors, evidently proud of its cool appearance and fluent language skills.

The robot was developed by Shenzhen-based Yushu Technology and the company signed a contract during the fair to build the Chengguan District Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park, which will accelerate the commercialization of intelligent robots and bring cutting-edge technology into more households.

At the Qingyang Pavilion, unmanned aerial vehicle VR experiences, digital human interactions and robotic arm performances continue to wow the visitors. Elsewhere, cutting-edge industrial products, such as integrated circuit chips, high-end precision bearings and intelligent computer numerical control machine tools, are being exhibited at the Tianshui Pavilion.

Besides intelligent technologies, Gansu's special and much-loved culinary flavors have also improved their profile at the fair.

"Many people come to the Tianshui Pavilion because the malatang or spicy hotpot of Tianshui city in Gansu province has become a culinary beacon for visitors and they want to taste the soul seasoning of the spicy hotpot – Gangu pepper," said Wang Xuxia, sales manager of Gangu County Xiangshan Impression Food.

Meanwhile, the Longnan Pavilion is exhibiting olives, Chinese prickly ash, walnuts, tea, traditional Chinese medicinal materials and other products, showcasing its ecological resources.

  • On June 10, the implementation plan for the construction of a national heritage route along the Hexi Corridor was released at a news conference held in northwest China's Gansu Province.
