The Shichuan Ancient Pear Orchard in Gaolan county, Lanzhou, Gansu province, is renowned not only for its stunning sea of flowers but also as the Guinness World Record holder for the World's Largest Ancient Pear Orchard.

It has also been recognized by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System. The orchard boasts 9,423 ancient pear trees, with the oldest being around 500 years old.

A unique skill passed down through generations here is the Tianbashi technique. Farmers climb ladders and use long poles to dust and pollinate the flowers from high above. This challenging skill has allowed generations of fruit growers to preserve and maintain this ancient orchard.
