The 9th "Jiuse Gannan Cup" Sino Epic Zecha-Gahai Wetland Cycling Race and the 12th Luqu Guozhuang Culture Week kicked off on July 25 in Luqu county, Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture, Gansu province. Cyclists and tourists nationwide gathered for this summer festival celebrating highland sports and Tibetan culture.

The opening ceremony was full of pomp and pageantry, with attendees in traditional ethnic attire. Luqu Party Secretary Wu Yu announced the lineup during the cultural week, including a mass Guozhuang dance, a grassland fireworks show, a music festival, and the Gansu-Qinghai-Sichuan Horse Racing Invitational.

The two-day cycling event featured road and mountain categories, with altitudes from 2,992 to 3,905 meters. The route connects landmarks like Zecha Stone Forest, Gahai Wetland, and Langmu Temple, offering riders stunning views of grasslands, wetlands, and canyons.

In addition to the cycling race, the festival will host investment talks, a star concert, music performances, a folk sports meeting, and an agri-product fair, boosting Luqu's cultural and tourism vitality.
