Fruit and vegetables in the Gobi Modern Agricultural Industrial Park of Zongzhai town, Jiuquan, Northwest China's Gansu province, are ripe, attracting many tourists to have a taste.
Jiuquan is redoubling efforts to boost agriculture in the Gobi Desert by developing high value-added fruits, such as cherry tomatoes and ginseng fruits, and introducing new technologies as a way to further raise local farmers' income.
