Farmers are busy mulching the corn planting base in a valley of Shizi township, Dangchang county, Longnan, Northwest China's Gansu province on April 10.
The silver-white film criss-crossing the fields, are ready to protect the growth of crop seedlings.
The township has stepped up efforts to restore abandoned lands. With the help of cooperatives and local leading growers, corn, alpine medicinal materials, rapeseed, and soybeans are growing well, which increased the land use efficiency.
