Honeydew melons welcome their harvest in Wuwei

"Our melons have already been assigned to orders from major supermarkets in Shanghai, Zhejiang province and Northeast China. At present, we pick more than 100 tons of melons a day," said the head of sales of a local shed melon planting garden.
In 2023, the planting area of honeydew melons in Xiqu town exceeded 3,666.7 hectares. Honeydew melon cultivation has become a pillar industry for local residents to increase their income and get rich.
