Desert park erupts with rock music

Zhangye of Northwest China's Gansu province has been bursting with rock music passion, as the city kicked off a rock and roll music festival in the evening of Aug 11.
The event invited well-known domestic artists such as singer Qi Qin and the music group NZBZ. Tens of thousands of spectators held fluorescent sticks and grooved to strong music rhythms at the 4A-level tourist scenic area Zhangye National Desert Sports Park.
