In the modern greenhouses at the Minle Industrial Park, Zhangye, Northwest China's Gansu province, workers are busy picking, sorting, and packing cherry tomatoes. The freshly- harvested juicy fruits will be transported to coastal regions in the eastern part of the country.

The greenhouses belong to a local agriculture company named Chaoyue. This year, it is expected to produce over 9,000 tons of tomatoes. By implementing field-based instruction and targeted training, the company has absorbed employment and provided stable salary for 400 to 1,000 relocated residents.

In recent years, Minle county has been engaged in promoting eco-friendly desert agriculture. Following the concept of "more sunlight, less water, new technology, and high efficiency," the county has embarked on a path of green development.
