Located on the banks of the Yellow River in the southeast of Jingtai county, Baiyin, Gansu province, the Yellow River Stone Forest National Geological Park is a national AAAA-level scenic area that spans some 50 square kilometers.

The stone forest cluster was formed by the accumulation of sand and gravel layers 2.1 million years ago. Due to new tectonic movement, rain erosion and gravity collapse, cliffs and pillars 80-200 meters in height were formed.

In winter, tourists wander among them, capturing cherished memories with their cameras, exploring the Yellow River stone forest, appreciating the natural wonders, and experiencing the unique charm of winter in Northwest China.
