In the depths of Qilian Mountains within the Mati Tibetan town of Sunan Yugu autonomous county, firefighters from the Ganzhou district's Forest Fire Brigade of Zhangye city patrol through the snowy forest. They are responsible for safeguarding 315,300 hectares of forest, 16 State-owned forest farms, and 12 nature reserves.

During a brief break, team leader Wang Shuai shared his firefighting experiences with his young comrades, imparting valuable lessons. "Our comrades do not view their mission merely as a job, but as a sacred duty. Their resilience and unity are extraordinary!"

The majority of the brigade's firefighters are youthful "90s" and "00s" who have dedicated their youth and sweat to the Qilian Mountains. Their faces reflect both the youthful exuberance of their age and the resolute determination to fulfill their mission.

As guardians of the Qilian Mountains' ecological sanctity, they form the backbone of forest fire prevention efforts. Throughout the year, they are companions to the forest and adversaries to fire, vigilantly ensuring the safety of countless households. For years, in pursuit of tranquility for the Qilian Mountains, generations of forest firefighters have deeply cherished their land with their dedication and commitment.
