A vibrant horse racing festival recently brought the ancient tradition alive in Zhuoluo town, Lintan county, drawing crowds of herders and tourists to celebrate the region's rich equestrian heritage.

The event, themed "Preserving Folk Culture, Celebrating Harmonious Zhuoluo," showcased the time-honored tradition of horse racing in this pastoral area. Riders from various regions, dressed in traditional attire, gathered at the racing grounds with their prized steeds.

Under the bright spring sun, the well-groomed horses displayed their magnificent form, their coats gleaming as their riders awaited the start signal. As the starting gun echoed across the field, riders and their mounts thundered down the track with lightning speed, creating an electrifying atmosphere as spectators cheered them on.
