Pepino melons become 'Golden Fruits' of prosperity in Jiuquan

Recently in Jiuquan, Gansu province, visitors to the greenhouse facilities at the Desert Ecological Agricultural Park in Jinta town, Jinta county were greeted by a sea of golden yellow.
Beneath lush green vines hung numerous plump, well-rounded pepino melons also known as sweet cucumbers or melon pears. Farmers were busy harvesting the ripened fruits, creating a bustling scene of abundance.
