Lanzhou university ranks among global leaders in glacier microbiology research

The Pan-third Pole Environment Center was established on May 27, 2021, under the leadership of Chinese Academy of Sciences Academician Yao Tandong, in support of critical national scientific initiatives. Presently, the center has over 70 faculty members and students, led by prominent figures such as professors Liu Yongqin, Ji Mukan, Liu Junzhi, Liu Pengfei, and Zhu Meilin, along with several young researchers. The team's achievements have been widely recognized, with multiple core members selected for prestigious national talent programs.
