Summer is the perfect time to visit the Meiren Grassland in Hezuo, Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture, Gansu province, to see the endless "green ocean".

As one of the top ten grasslands in Asia, the area is abundant in water and grass, with good vegetation, making it the main natural pasture in Hezuo.

It is also abundant in natural shiitake mushrooms and over a hundred types of Chinese medicinal herbs.

In 2015, the Heye second-class highway, with a total length of 101.91 kilometers, started operations, connecting Hezuo to the Yeliguan Tourist Area. The highway crosses the Meiren Grassland, making it easier than ever to access.
