The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) marked the fourth anniversary of its implementation on Jan 1. As the world's largest free trade agreement, the RCEP continues to deliver tariff concessions, providing robust momentum for Gansu-based enterprises to integrate into regional supply chains and expand their international trade reach.

During this four-year period, Lanzhou Customs has issued 8,037 certificates of origin for goods exported to RCEP member countries, with a total declared value of 3.73 billion yuan ($533.8 million), helping provincial exporters enjoy approximately 110 million yuan in tariff reductions.

To better support enterprises in utilizing RCEP policies, Lanzhou Customs has established expert teams to provide tailored guidance. It has developed the "Easy Benefits" smart service platform, which integrates functions such as agreement tax rate inquiries and a customized "optimal benefit combination" service. Additionally, the "Customs-Post Express" WeChat mini-program enables businesses to request certificate of origin mailing with "one-click ordering".

Moving forward, Lanzhou Customs will leverage the "Yellow River Basin Customs-Trade Connect Smart Platform" to upgrade its service model from "delivering policies to businesses" to "tailoring support based on demand", helping more enterprises seize opportunities under the trade pact and deepen their integration into the vast RCEP market.
