An ancient pear orchard of Shichuan town in Gaolan county, Lanzhou, Gansu province, burst into bloom on April 11, drawing crowds of visitors.

Leveraging these unique ecological resources, the local community is using the allure of the pear blossoms to foster agritourism, transforming beautiful landscapes into economic assets and injecting new vitality into rural vitalization.

Centered around the pear blossoms, a series of activities were held, featuring immersive experiences, cultural performances, agricultural interactions, and creative consumer products, enriching the visitor experience.

Complementary services such as sightseeing tours, educational programs, accommodations, and catering ensured a seamless connection between ecological tourism and rural development.

Pear orchard eco-tourism has become a critical pathway for increasing local incomes and advancing rural development in the area. Shichuan is committed to further integrating agriculture, culture, and tourism, aiming to provide sustained momentum for rural vitalization.
