Gansu economy posts strong growth in Q1
Gansu province reported strong economic performance for the first quarter. Its GDP reached 334.47 billion yuan ($49.04 billion), marking a 5.9 percent increase year-on-year.
The added value of the primary sector hit 22.24 billion yuan, growing by 6.8 percent, while that of the secondary sector reached 112.47 billion yuan, up 7.9 percent. The tertiary sector saw a 4.7 percent rise in its added value, reaching 199.77 billion yuan.
