The Thailand-China Silk Road Tourism Exchange was held on June 3 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Lanzhou, Gansu province, to promote mutual visitor flows and resource sharing between Northwest China and Thailand.

The event, organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Association of Thai Travel Agents, with support from the Lanzhou Chengguan District Cultural Tourism Development Industry Association, attracted 200 participants, including representatives from provincial cultural and tourism authorities, enterprises, travel agencies, media, and the photography industry.

The Thai tourism delegation presented new products and premium cultural resources, focusing on niche destinations, luxury vacations, and family leisure, and offered fresh ideas, resources, and routes for Gansu's outbound tourism market.

Tourism professionals from both regions also engaged in discussions and precise matchmaking, exploring topics such as mutual visitor exchanges, joint route development, and product collaboration, resulting in several cooperation agreements.

The "Thai Tourism Night" dinner further strengthened friendships and connections within the Sino-Thai tourism industry.

By establishing a new platform for effective cultural and tourism exchanges between Gansu and Thailand, this event opens a cooperative channel between the Northwest China tourism market and Thailand's high-quality tourism resources.
